CHRISTOPHER HAW (b. 1941)
BIOGRAPHY
Christopher Haw was born in South Africa in 1941. He works in watercolours and oils, and his painting style can be described as realist expressionist.
Haw is a fellow of the Watercolour Society of South Africa and has won many awards, including the Ernest Oppenheimer Award, judged by American art critic Clement Greenberg.
He exhibited in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, the United States, the United Kingdom (St James Gallery, London), Jersey in the Channel Islands and Milan, Italy, where he was lauded as a master in his field.
Recent exhibitions took place at Granada Square in Umhlanga Rocks and Windemere Centre in Morningside, Durban.
