BIOGRAPHY

Peter Hall is an artist and photographer. He studied at Pretoria Art College, and, for the first 10 years as an artist, he worked solely in water colour. Then he switched to acrylics and inks for about 12 years and, now, he works mostly in oil on canvas. Dedicated to cityscapes and landscapes, his subject matter includes bushveld scenes, lakes, valleys, rocks, boulders, plants, clouds, beachscapes and, notably, birds (Secretary Birds, Barn Owls, Atlantic Puffins, Pied Kingfishers).

He has travelled to Antarctica many times and even did a few weeks solo on Deception Island to capture the landscapes both on film and on canvas.
