BIOGRAPHY
Simon Mthimkulu is an artist and printmaker who was one of the early studio members at Artist Proof Studio in Newtown, Johannesburg.
Along with Ezekiel Budeli and Tshidiso Makhete, he co-created Mother and Child, a steel-welded sculpture, located on the pavement at 190-170 Lillian Ngoyi Street, Johannesburg. This sculpture captures the unique experiences of commuters who have frequented the Bree Taxi Rank.
